In this episode Tim and China go over the Athletes Against Anxiety and Depression November Campaign. Last November the movement of AAAD was born. In the following months the reaction and support was so incredible that China decided it needed to be something much bigger than just a one month social media movement. He got the appropriate help and and in March in 2017 the Athletes Against Anxiety and Depression Foundation was approved by the government.

In this episode Tim and China talk about the power of sharing your story. Your story CAN help people if you are willing to share it. That has been the biggest change for China in his Mental Health Journey and he encourages everyone to get involved and share with their community to raise awareness this November.

In this episode Tim and China discuss the key to unplugging and relaxing.

A lot of times we can get into the a repetitive routine and forget to spend time relaxing and unplugging from the stresses of everyday life. Without taking a step back at times it can be hard to identify our priorities and do what we want to do. 

China and Tim discuss a recent trip that China took that changed the way he looks at his life and core values. Similar to an earlier episode on the Pop Pod when Tim went to 40yearsofzen.com China reflects on his thought process throughout the week and what it means for him going forward.

This is the type of reflection that can be valuable to maximize the efficiency and value in your life. The key is figuring out what works for you in terms unplugging and relaxing. Is it travel? Is it mediation? Figure it out for yourself and start to prioritize You Time!

In this episode Tim and China discuss how to get out of a rut.

We all fall in to a rut sometimes. They key is how quickly do you get out off that rut and do you have tools in place to help you get out quickly.

Usually we fall into a rut because of a lack of discipline. We stop doing what we did to get us into a positive spot. Little negative decisions start to add up and we find ourselves in a full-fledged rut. Sometimes the rut can last for weeks, months, or even years.

Tim and China discuss the two phases of getting out of a rut: first you need to identify that you are in and second you have to have tools in place to get out of it. Enjoy their perspective and action steps to help you the next time you are in a rut!

In this episode Tim and China discuss the topic of urgency. 

It is not about being feeling urgency for results. Instead it is about being urgent in making positive changes in your life. It is about being urgent to take action towards things that will bring more value to your life.

So often we confuse urgency with a quick fix and expect to make significant changes quickly or overnight. Unfortunately this is not realistic and we often find ourselves feeling disappointed and reverting back to exactly where we were.

Significant change takes repetitive positive actions over a period of time. You need to be lean with your actions and choices and make sure you are analyzing the way you are living your life. You have to go internal, define your goals and what is important to you, and figure out the daily steps to get there.
